It was an honor for me to participate in the activity of 2017 Enterprise Visit for International Graduate Students. Along the journey, as a chemical engineer, I learned a lot of knowledge related to the engineering field, especially at the CTCI Corporation. During the trip, we visited the CTCI Corporation, MiTAC Information Technology Corp., Advantech Corp., Rhymebus Corp., and HIWIN Technologies Corporation. It was very interesting as these companies walked us through on their products overviews and working environments. In each and every company, we got to see their excellent technological research and development. It is truly remarkable to see the technologies they are developing for business and production. MiTAC has evolved into a multinational organization offering R&D design, manufacturing, assembly, and marketing solutions covering full ranges of electronics manufacturing services (EMS). These services include: joint development management and manufacturing (JDM), original design manufacturing (ODM), original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original product manufacturing (OPM). CTCI Corporation is an active player in the international power, environmental, and transportation industries. It adopts an uncompromising approach to quality solution coupled with an eagerness to learn, enabling the company to become a global provider of engineering services today. Advantech provides automation-related products and solutions. Specifically, Advantech offers comprehensive system integration for hardware, software, customer-centric design services, and global logistics support, all of which are backed by industry-leading front and back office e-business solutions. Advantech also manufactures high-quality and high-performance computing platforms. Rhymebus is a professional manufacturer for AC inverter, auxiliary control equipment, and automation control system integration. Their outstanding accomplishments of inverters applications cover fields such as Textile, Food, Transportation, Plastics, Treadmill, and many others. HIWIN produces and sells rail guides, ball screws and positioning measurement systems; supplies machine tools to metalworkers, woodworkers, plastic workers, manufacturers, and companies in the fields of measurement and testing technology, packaging, general automation, semiconductor, medical, photovoltaic, and solar industries. After visiting these companies, I am interested in joining them if I have an opportunity to work in Taiwan. Among all the visiting companies, I would be so glad if I were able to join the CTCI Group since my study major well fits the industry background. After my study, I will send my CV to these companies. Thanks to CTCI Foundation for organizing this event. It is a valuable and unforgettable experience in my life.
