The CTCI trip was comprised of three day events. For the first day, we went to InvesTaiwan and representatives explained details regarding how to work in Taiwan, and what sorts of points are considered for hiring by Taiwanese companies. Then we visited MiTAC. I came to understand that e-gate and easy card are their products. At the presentation, all students were very enthusiast to ask many questions until there was not enough time to ask more questions. After that, we went to CTCI Corporation in Taipei. The company tour was exciting as they showed us around the building aisle, where exercising and relaxing facilities such as massage chairs were set up for its employees. It is a really good place to work. The second day, we went to Linkou to visit Advantech. The company has a beautiful building based on concept of campus building. It looks like a really friendly working place. It was great to see the product display sites. Rhymebus representatives introduced us the company history, products and job openings as well as the assembly factory. The last company we visited was HIWIN. This company specializes on motion control and system technology manufacturer. They showed us their entire product line which includes very unique and innovative robot product. The third day was filled with fun events. The beautiful Sun Moon Lake sightseeing by boat was memorable. Then we watched a traditional dance show. The Hakka culture Development Center was a fascinating place to learn about tribes in Taiwan. It was great to know friends from same country as me (Indonesia) and others countries such as India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Philippines and China.
