CTCI Enterprise Visit is an annual activity organized by CTCI Foundation for international graduation student. This program encourages international graduated students to pursue careers in Taiwan. And during the trip, students could interact with the companies directly while the visit companies could recruit international talents. At InvesTaiwan Service Center, participants received important information about applying for a working visa and steps of starting business in Taiwan. This section was very informative and useful to foreigners. MiTAC is an IT company providing system integration services such as Industry 4.0 for smart transportation, library, enterprise, and banking in Taiwan and overseas. At CTCI Corporation, we learned about how CTCI Corp. doing businesses in various sectors, such as in hydrocarbon processing, infrastructure, power, and transportation industries. Advantech is a leading supplier of system integration and design. In recent years, Advantech has been actively involved in automation industry, embedded computers and Internet of Things and focused in Embedded-IOT, Allied-IOT, Industrial-IOT, and Service-IOT. At the showroom, we saw the system development of industrial 4.0 at the factory. Rhymebus is a professional manufacturer of AC inverter, auxiliary control equipment, and automation control system integration. It is involved in the development of energy-saving products. We learned about their production line and methods of energy saving. HIWIN develops linear motion control and has many inventions in automation manufacturing. We enjoyed leisure day by visiting Sun Moon Lake at Nantou and Taiwan Hakka Culture Development Center in Miaoli. Sun Moon Lake is the largest lake and water reservoir in Taiwan. We explored the lake by riding a motor boat, watched a traditional dance by aboriginals and visit Hakka culture Development Center. This enterprise visit activity encouraged all participants to pursue career in Taiwan by providing detailed information about the regulation of applying for working visa and starting a business. It also gave us a realistic understanding about the visions and business daily operations of Taiwanese corporations. Therefore, participants were able to better prepare for careers in the chosen industries. I greatly appreciate CTCI Foundation warm hospitality and services throughout the 3-day Enterprise Visit!
