Introduction
CTCI Foundation, formerly known as China Technical Consultants, Inc., was established on October 12, 1959. ¡@As a pioneer of new technologies, CTCI Foundation commits itself to developing technological talents for Taiwan thereby facilitates Taiwan¡¦s economic development and assists Taiwan¡¦s manufacturing industries to upgrade their productivity.

Ever since its establishment, CTCI Foundation has played the most critical role in various national economic development projects and has thus established a number of research centers, such as the Catalyst Research Center, Eco-Technology, Energy, and Environmental Technology Development Center, to name just a few. CTCI Foundation has assisted ROC government to formulate a variety of policies and strategies pertinent to environment protection and energy. Furthermore, CTCI Foundation has sponsored a number of seminars, scholarships, and academic programs to identify the talented professionals thereby boost technological research and development in Taiwan.

Coping with the world trend closely, CTCI Foundation has never forgotten its mottos ¡V Technological Advancement, Community Wellbeing, and Innovation ¡V and has thus implemented an environmental protection and energy think-tank dedicated to environment preservation, energy conservation, and economic development on the whole. Engineering Instruction Stage (1959¡ã1979)

R&D and Technical Service Stage(1980¡ã2004)

¡DPrior to the establishment of CTCI Corporation, CTCI Foundation has designed and constructed as many as„T70 petrochemical plants. Inheriting the technological know-how and reputations acquired by CTCI „T„T„T„T„TFoundation over 2 decades, CTCI Corporation has grown successfully and was thus recognized the„T„T„T„T foremost benchmarking constructor by the Commonwealth Magazine, and was assessed the 63rd „T„T„T„TEngineering Corporation of the world by ENR.
¡DProviding technical consultation services to business entities across Taiwan, including 840 seminars on „T„Tpollution prevention, 8,200 field visits, rendering energy conservation services 7,400 times, sponsoring 400 „Tseminars on energy conservation and carbon reduction, completed 190 air pollution and toxic substance „T„Tprojects for government and private companies, and initiated 70 eco-related regulations and systems for the „Tgovernment. Furthermore, CTCI Foundation has filed 22 catalyst- related patents in Taiwan and 3 in foreign „Tcountries together with 105 research reports.

¡DRendering financial support to approximately 3,200 outstanding students and has thus paid out more than „T„T100 million New Taiwan Dollars for various seminars and scholarship programs.

Training programs turned out to be a success and had earned applauses from all „Tindustries across Taiwan.
