VERMA SAURAV

The arrangement for stay, travel and food was very good. The accompanying staff were very generous. I got to learn a lot about the job opportunities in Taiwan and the procedures to apply for work permit. The experience of meeting with international students has been added to my good memories. The food that was provided was very good and delicious. The final day visit to the Jiufeng old street, Gold museum, and the National Palace Museum was very educative. It made me learn more about the Taiwanese culture and the great Taiwanese and Chinese history since ancient times up to the modern day. The companies that we visited were from different fields like electronics manufacturing, renewable energy solutions, petrochemical industry, heavy equipment and engineering services, IoT and IT industry. Thus the visit was very informative. I am more confident now than before to get a job and pursue a career in Taiwan. But one industry that Taiwan is most famous for, that is semiconductor industry, was missing from the trip. I hope that CTCI will try to include enterprise visit to the semiconductor industry also in the future.
