I have experienced first excursion across Taiwan during this trip, which was sponsored CTCI foundation. We have visited famous firms, organizations and sightseeing places. I have gained knowledge of what is required to be employed by Taiwanese company. Besides earning degree one has more chance to be hired if she knows Mandarin language as well as familiar with local culture. Although, by law Taiwanese companies give employment priority to citizens of the country, they are very willing to recruit international students, graduates if one has developed required skills. Therefore, international students should study hard, get knowledge and degree meanwhile learn speak and read Mandarin Chinese. Also not to hesitate get involved with local people and culture. In brief the visited enterprises and gained experiences. In this visit, in my opinion CTCI foundation achieved its goal of bring together international talent with local corporations.
