I would like to thank InvesTaiwan Service Center of MOEA, MiTAC Information Technology Corp., CTCI Corporation, Advantech Corporation, Rhymebus Corporation, and HIWIN Technologies Corp. for their warm introduction and on-site tours. It was an amazing experience to participate in such program. The visits allowed the participants a great experience to learn about current industry trends, see enterprise working environments firsthand, interact with international students from other universities, and understand how Taiwan could grow so much to become a place with great potential for working and investing. During the visit, some participants were intrigued and approached me for further discussions afterwards. The 2017 CTCI Enterprise Visit trip was a great, meaningful opportunity for master and PhD student to broaden knowledge and social network. I think every graduate student should spend some time getting to know other participants that are involved in researches similar or related to their own. Networking of student group might help with getting in touch with other experts in the field as well as Taiwanese companies, both of which could lead to great opportunities. Finally, I want to express my gratitude for the great activity and support from the team.
