This year, we will handle two-step "Exploring Overseas Graduate Enterprises" activities. CTCI Foundation will continue to provide a friendly platform for overseas students and domestic high-quality enterprises to connect to each other, and lead national famous universities and its post-graduate oversea students, by attending the three days two nights event, we will have direct oppotunities to quickly understand those well-known enterprises in the central and northern Taiwan. More, it is a effective way to learn the current situation of Taiwan's corporate culture and operation through site visit, and to strengthen the willingness of overseas students to develop their careers in Taiwan and the desire to be rooted in Taiwan in their future. This year's visits include six companies like InvesTaiwan ,CTCI Corporation, Foxgreen, Fortune, Celxpert and Advantech. The visit process provides direct interaction between the company and the students, and opportunities for talents to be recruited, so that participants from all over the world and different cultures can better understand the value of local enterprises and its brand spirit, and deepen the international image of Taiwanese companies. The preparation team in CTCI Foundation is, as always, work hard towards the goal of encouraging domestic talents cultivation and elaborate a win-win situation between corporate and students.

Since the first day at the meeting point, I was so pleased by the welcoming and hospitality of CTCI Foundation staffs.They took care of us very well, especially Ms. Caroline Ho who always checked on each of us regarding our satisfaction during the meal. I know she must be very exhausted but she accomplished her duty very well. I learned a lot about Taiwan's company during the visit and it caught my attention the most when we can see the manufacturing process in the company itself. I enjoyed the whole trip and I was very thankful especially for the accommodation which was breathtaking for me since I never been in a luxurious hotel before. For the overall trip, I like the visit to JiuFen and Gold Museum and I learned about the cultural aspect about those places which is interesting to know. Surely, I will share this unforgettable experience to my friends and encourage them to join this event too for the next coming period. If only I can have another chance to join, I won't miss that. It’s been so fantastic to see how successful the Taiwan industry, they have all been at working in a team, including everyone and taking on lots of different jobs. This activity is so important for the International students of their age to learn about how this industry work, the recruitment process, technology for the future as by the time we are adults it will have changed again! And we can meet other international students in Taiwan, we’ve all been impressed with their confidence when interacting with us especially as they haven’t met us before. I hope this kind of activity continues every year. After this activity made me more interested in working in Taiwan later. The arrangement for stay, travel and food was very good. The accompanying staff were very generous. I got to learn a lot about the job opportunities in Taiwan and the procedures to apply for work permit. The experience of meeting with international students has been added to my good memories. The food that was provided was very good and delicious. The final day visit to the Jiufeng old street, Gold museum, and the National Palace Museum was very educative. It made me learn more about the Taiwanese culture and the great Taiwanese and Chinese history since ancient times up to the modern day. The companies that we visited were from different fields like electronics manufacturing, renewable energy solutions, petrochemical industry, heavy equipment and engineering services, IoT and IT industry. Thus the visit was very informative. I am more confident now than before to get a job and pursue a career in Taiwan. But one industry that Taiwan is most famous for, that is semiconductor industry, was missing from the trip. I hope that CTCI will try to include enterprise visit to the semiconductor industry also in the future.

I am very grateful that CTCI Foundation give me the chance to participate in this activity. By joining this activities, we can learn and know a lot of things especially about how to get working visa or working ARC and the qualifications, about the companies in Taiwan and also about the job opportunity that they give to International graduate sudents. All the staffs that arranged this activity really professional, they are very friendly so that all participants can enjoy the activities and feel freely to ask anything to the staff without doubt. The companies we visit that arranged by CTCI Foundation is the big companies in Taiwan. They are really very welcome us and give us a lot of information that we need and ask. Thank you CTCI Foundation for giving me an opportunity to join this wonderful trip. I was so surprised when I knew that I was selected as one of the eligible students that join this trip since I applied for the same kind of trip last year, but I was not selected. This event really motivated me to improve my self. I met so many wonderful experts in Taiwan’s high tech companies and many great new friends from various universities in Taiwan. I learned a lot about Taiwan’s business and working environment, and I saw directly how the factory operates and create products. I remember one quote from Mr. Jhon Yu, Group Chairman of CTCI, “ Without profession, no one wants you; Integrity is the adding value above profession” and it encouraged me to study harder and to be an expert in my major. First, I wanna say big thanks to CTCI Foundation who give me a great opportunity to join this event. It's such an honor for me. I heard about this event from my friends who also joined this event last year, Satria, Popy, and Gilang from NCU. I was so excited because I want to know more about getting a job in Taiwan, especially in industry. As I guess, this event really fulfills my expectation. I am so happy to know that Taiwan is open with international students for getting a job in Taiwan. CTCI Foundation and InvestTaiwan seem like having a really strong will about this vision. They are very welcoming us. That makes us feel being supported. This event also gives us an opportunity to visit some industry in Taiwan, especially that related to our major. That helps us know more about the job atmosphere in Taiwan. Knowing how the industry work, what we will do in the company, the salary, and how the company treats the employee. Those help us to prepare for getting a job after graduation from Master or Ph.D. programs. The part that I love the most from this event is when the company showed us how the production of their products. That's really cool! They also gave us a very warm welcome. That makes us very motivated and know in detail how they work and what's related to our research on campus. Because we didn't get those experience on campus or by reading on the internet. They also gave us more information through the Q&A session. The interesting thing is that some company also care about the environment. They have CSR who take care of that. And also have a program to empower the employee to get a better work-life balance. That's great! Other things are we have a chance to know other international students from another campus. We talk about our work, our research, our goals, our cultures, our countries, etc. It's really fun! Maybe we will be a co-worker in the future. I believe it will give us a big advantage at work. Dear CTCI Foundation, Time flies so fast, we are eventually back to busy life after our amazing trip. Thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to know more details about Taiwanese companies as well as helping us to widen our social network beyond our course. My name is Nina Hartini, 23 years old. I am Indonesian. I am a master student from Departement of Chemical and Materials Engineering in National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Taiwan is a multination country with many foreigners and many multination industries. It improve greatly time by time. This condition will be an advantage for many student to learn much new knowledges and to get many experiences. Studying in Taiwan will be a great change for everyone, including me, not only the offered scholarship but also the educational system itself. In addition, studying in Taiwan can also gain more experience as well as attending the enterprise visit held by CTCI Foundation. So, thank you CTCI Foundation for giving me the opportunity to take part in the industry visit. This enterprise visit gives me a lot of experience to know more about companies in Taiwan. With me, this CTCI Foundation Enterprise Visit trip is memorable and meaningful. I had a chance to visit production sites at leading companies in Taiwan from EPC (CTCI), manufacturing (Fortune), renewable energy (Foxgreen), battery (Calexpert) to a dominating high-tech player in Industry 4.0 and IoT (AdvanTech). By talking with the companies' leader and experienced technician, I have got deeply understand how these companies help Taiwan to be a dominant global player in the manufacturing and engineering industry recently. With the methodical investment for talents and successors and a global approach, these Taiwan companies are considering themselves as reliable partners and important players in the supplier chain of international trade. The management model and quality-driven approach in producing can be potentially a precious experience in my career. Also, their investment and vision in green and recycled energy promise to be the role model for other countries in the next decades. Like the other countries, in several companies I have visited, they deeply invested and built plants in Vietnam (e.g., CIMAS from CTCI). Further, they have recruited local talents and committed to the sustainable development of local communities. After all, with me, it is an honor to join this memorable trip and get the warm welcome from CTCI Foundation organizers.

“A wonderful start for international-graduate-job-seekers in Taiwan” This three-day trip is one of the most amazing enterprise visits I have ever joined. All of the efforts and dedications CTCI Foundation team had put into organizing this activity paid off. From day one, I was welcomed by the friendliness of CTCI Foundation staffs. The orientation and the Taiwanese corporation visit were a burst of information. Those companies belong to different sectors and fields, from construction, energy, manufacturing, IT to green technology. We, around 30 students, were provided so much knowledge about their corporation history and operation, as well as real company tours. Job vacancies, which were among our top concerns, were also brought to us with their specific requirements and preferences. Last day, we were brought to multiple renowned places, such as Jiu-Fen, Gold Museum and National Palace Museum. I strongly feel that CTCI Foundation cares about nurturing foreign “blood”, for they not only gave us work-related advice, but more crucially, showed us the culture and life in Taiwan. It would doubtlessly be a much more sustainable approach than pure occupation information provision. Thank you, Dr. Yang, for all of your advice regarding job hunting. This is my first time to join such kind of event since I come to Taiwan, because I am only looking the event that could give me opportunities related my research area. I wonder what kind of trip I would take for the next three days, would it will be a boring trip? Would I have trouble finding suitable food? What kind of people would be with me during the trip? What kind of place would I visit? ... and it turns out everything was very surprising. the trip is very fun, enjoyable and comfortable. I had an amazing experience, I received a lot of useful information related to industries and companies that have grown and developed in Taiwan. I am also very satisfied with the luxurious facilities such as meals, transportation, hotels, and the services provided by the CTCI Foundation. I also meet lots of great new friends that we can fit each other for a very short trip. It's really wonderful. Overall, I'm happy to give 5 stars for everything. Thank you very much CTCI Foundation.

The trip was very well organized. From the first presentation at InvesTaiwan through all the impressions at different companies and places in Taiwan until the drop-off at the Taipei Main Station. The organizers took care of any needs of the participants and it was a great opportunity to be part of this trip organized by CTCI Foundation. Even the unplanned situations, could not let the organizers lose their calmness. In the fish restaurant on Thursday night, our table with non-pork eaters had a dish with pork inside. We figured out quickly though and the dish was replaced by some non-pork food. The organizers were very warm-hearted and it was easy to talk to them about anything we wanted to know about Taiwan. I have never had the chance before to talk in such detail about the career paths, opportunities and company cultures present in the Taiwanese environment. The insight was eye-opening and I hope the future participants will also take advantage of this one-time opportunity. Regarding the selected candidates, there was a great mix of different people with different views. International students from all over Taiwan from mostly south-east Asian countries with STEM-background were represented. The group spread very pleasant vibes. A great condition to get to know all this people from different background. For sure, every participant had a unique story to share, which made this trip invaluable. I was quite surprised though, that seven people from NTUST joined the trip. All in all, I am really satisfied with the trip. I am happy about all the people I met and the very interesting time we have spent together. It was a pleasure to be part of such a special event. Thank you so much CTCI Foundation for all the effort!
